4/13/2009 - Bird & 87th project in Miami, Fl

Commercial Builders, Inc. (CBI) has just been awarded the exterior light gauge framing, steel truss system and the Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) on the Bird & 87th project in Miami, Fl.

CBI will be working directly for the Miami based owner/developer/builder,  General Real Estate Corporation (GREC). This project is designed by Houston Architectural firm Lawrence S. Levinson, A.I.A. and the projects design features are similar to previous Levinson projects in the SW Dade area that include London Square and Carter Square, both of which were performed by Commercial Builders, Inc.

Our expertise, success and performance of these two prior Levinson projects was instrumental in our selection by GREC to be a part of the project team.

9/15/2008 - Town and Country Shopping Center in Kendall, FL

Commerical Builders, Inc. was recently awarded the Town and Country Specialty Center project with Brasfield and Gorrie, LLC. This project will consist of over 60,000 sq. ft. of new retail construction at the existing Town and Country Shopping Center in Kendall, Fl. Commercial Builders, Inc. will be performing the exterior light gauge framing components along with the exterior wall sheathings, vapor barriers, over 70,000 sq. ft. of stucco and EIFS systems at the exterior and the interior vanilla boxes at the interiors. Our expertise in these fields has contributed to our success and continued working relationship with industry leaders such as Brasfield and Gorrie, LLC of Birmingham, AL.

9/1/2008 - Kohl’s Department Store in Royal Palm Beach, FL

Commercial Builders, Inc. was recently awarded the exterior framing/wall sheathings and EIFS systems as well as the interior framing and drywall systems build out of the new Kohl’s Department Store located on Southern Blvd. in Royal Palm Beach Florida. Our client, Keene Construction Company of Central Florida is also another example of our established relationships with another retail construction industry leader.
